Meet Julie!

Julie is a Pediatric Physical Therapist and is the owner and founder of igniteKIDS Physical Therapy. She started igniteKIDS in 2023 after working with kids for over 13 years in the early intervention, hospital, and outpatient settings. She graduated from UT Southwestern with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and has achieved her Board Certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist.

She has presented on a national level for the APTA, taken students, and believes in educating families. Education is a cornerstone to her practice. She has a passion for working with kids who have pelvic floor dysfunction and those aged 0-3 y.o. with developmental delays. She loves to help them meet their milestones and get back to being kids. She believes this happens through both child and family centered care. She enjoys working with families to understand their concerns and help them determine what path of treatment is best for their child.

When Julie is not in the clinic you can find her spending time with her son, enjoying time in nature, working on home projects, and working out. She loves to travel and enjoys both the beach and mountains. She believes that you can be active during every season, and you will find her skiing, hiking, cycling, running, lifting weights, taking HIIT classes, and enjoying yoga. She enjoys eating healthy foods and is always looking for something new and healthy to try.
